Celebrate America!
We celebrate America! Thank God for the freedom we still have to worship our Savior! But, it is time for the church to wake up. We will lose our freedom if we don’t.
We must pray for our nation…pray for God to heal our land.
(2 Chronicles 7:14)
Please scroll to bottom of page and pause my Playlist and watch this powerful video by Carman: “God In America”.
Have a wonderful day as you celebrate the day with family and friends.
I pray…
“that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;
that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge;
that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
(Ephesians 3:16-21)

Children Are a Gift From God!
It’s like a special club; Motherhood…and it’s truly gender specific, to say the least.
What a gift the Father has given to His daughters, to allow us to bear and nurture children! And through the miracle of adoption, even women who cannot give birth can still know the tenacious love of a child in their keeping.
What heartbreaking pain we can suffer and what inconceivable joy we can have all because we are mothers. Yet in reality we are merely caretakers, very attached to our work.
Our children are on loan from God and entrusted to our safekeeping for as long as He deems right. We find the direction and guidance needed when we turn them over to Him.
He knows each child intimately, ever since He began knitting each one together in the womb.
Yes, motherhood is a very special club. And it’s an honor to be invited by God to join.
(From the book – “God Answers Moms’ Prayers”, by Allison Bottke)
This spoke to my heart as I was reading it, reminding me that children are indeed a blessing!
Too often we forget, because when they are little we never seem to get enough sleep. When they are teenagers, our stress level keeps us from resting. And even when they are adults and our nests are empty, they are still in our hearts and in our prayers.
In spite of the worry and sometimes pain, being blessed with children truly is a gift from God!
“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.” Psalm 127:3

God Always Does Things Right!
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6,7
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:8,9

Carolyn
