Rejoice in the Lord!

This is the day which the Lord has made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it.
You are my God, and I will praise You;
You are my God, I will exalt You.
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
Psalm 118:24,28-29

We have so much to be thankful for, yet we take so much of it for granted. Especially as we approach Thanksgiving we need to give praise to our Heavenly Father. But each and every day we should rejoice and be glad for the very breath that God gives to us.

This past year may not have been your best year. You may have lost a loved one or lost possessions. You may have lost faith in people due to disappointments. The elections may have been a big letdown for you. But has our God changed? Is He still in control of the earth and the heavens and each of our lives? Yes of course, He is!

Give Him praise for who He is. Give Him praise for the hope He gives and for the faith he gives you. As you praise Him, He will fill you with joy!

Please listen to this video “I Never Lost My Praise” and be blessed.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.
Carolyn

  1. Carolyn, that is a powerful video! Thank you for sharing it and for always sharing your precious heart! I appreciate all that you are doing for so many including praying for Brandon. Thank you for interceding for so many lost loved ones. You are truly amazing and such a blessing to me. Because of people like you...so many will not lose their hope and trust in God and in people.

    May God continue to pour out His blessings on you, your family and your precious group of prayer warriors.

    I know that Brandon is on his way back to the Lord...whether he sees it or not. Praise The Lord where nothing is impossible.

    Love in Christ, dear friend!

  2. What a wonderful blog! How have I missed it for so long! I am going to add your blog to follow--if you have time...please stop by Partners In Prayer for Our Prodigals. I began this blog about three years ago and you will find my own journey of loving an adult child who is lost. It is so important for mom's and dad's to find a network of other parents who understand. For truly--our friends and family who have never walked this walk--care...but there is just something about another person who understands our pain so personally.

    Great find!

    Blessings!

    God bless you and your family this Thanksgiving season.
