Praises To My Heavenly Father For Answering Prayer!

I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
(Isaiah 46:4 TNIV)

He was only five months old when I first saw him. His young mom had left him with me for a few hours. I had just met her and my heart was touched with God’s love for her, because she was so young and seems so alone.

As I held E in my arms, rocking him, I had an overwhelming sense of God’s presence and a special love for this baby. I prayed for God to protect him and for him to grow up to love God.

Three months later my son, J, married the young lady and the baby became my grandson. They were married for a few years before J was able to adopt him and E became my grandchild legally.

J and K were married two years when they had a beautiful son who died suddenly at eight weeks, but two years later God blessed them with a healthy son.

Their marriage lasted for only twelve years, separating J from his two sons, except for short visits. The miles between us also separated me from my grandchildren.

I never stopped loving them. I never stopped praying for them, as I pray for all of my grandchildren and their parents.

I give praise to my Heavenly Father today for answering my prayers!

E enlisted in the Army in early 2003 and has been in Iraq for two tours and has just completed a tour in Afghanistan. God has answered my prayer for his protection! He was in the middle of the war facing grave danger and narrowly escaped harm many times, but was never hurt.

Only God! He kept him safe! I praise God for his mercy and for answering prayer. From the first prayer I prayed 27 years ago and continuing today, God is faithful to watch over all of us and to keep us in His care.

Praise God today for all of His blessings and many answers to our prayers!

Blessings,
Carolyn

  3. Praise The Lord, Carolyn! Where would our children and grandchildren be today without God's hand of protection on them. The prayers of mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles and grandparents are being prayed for their loved ones...with you know the Lord as their personal Savior and those who are still lost...He hears every prayer we pray and sees the many tears that we shed for them.

Thank you, Jesus for hearing Carolyn's prayers for many, many years and for answering those prayers.

    Love you!

  4. A DAUGHTER AND HUSBAND AND TWO CHILDREN. I AM NOT CERTAIN ABOUT SALVATION, WAYS oF SATAN. NO FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. MARRIAGE IS IN TROUBLE AS WELL, IF IT IS A MARRIAGE. I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE. SO MUCH DRAMA. CHILDREN ARE OF THE AGE TO BE ABLE TO ACCEPT JESUS AS SAVOR. NO CHURCH FAMILY. I DO NOT KNOW ALL THE STRONGHOLDS, I AM PRAYING FOR the strongholds TO BE DESTROYED. ... THERE ARE OTHERS, I HAVE BEEN PRAYING SINCE 98. I LEARNED SO MUCH TONIGHT. I AM A BAPTIST< I HOPE THAT IS OK> that loves Jesus. Thank you... Paula

  5. Paula, I sense the pain that you are feeling by the words you say. More important, Jesus loves you and He knows exactly everything that you are concerned about. He hears your prayers and He will answer them. Don't give up praying. Psalm 6:8-9 says, "For the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayers."
    Blessings and prayers,
    Carolyn
