Merry Christmas!

He Came

No room in the inn, not even for Him,
He was born of a lowly birth.
A star in the sky caused three men to sigh,
The Savior had come to earth.

Word would spread fast, He had come at last,
Many had waited so long.
The angels would sing a heavenly ring,
Shepherds would join in the song.

Gifts they would bring to honor the King,
Joy would flow through the land.
The sky was bright, what a glorious night,
God kept His promise to man.

What change would be made, caused by this Babe,
He was wrapped in swaddling clothes.
Persecution and strife, He would give up His life
And through Him God’s love still flows.

Eddie Roush 2008

“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
Luke 2:11

Wishing you Christmas blessings of joy, love, hope, and peace that comes when we make room in our heart for Jesus.
